PURPOSE:To easily and accurately collect the customer names and the visiting time points as well as the transaction information by storing the customer codes and the visiting time points based on the bar codes prepared at the customer side when the salesmen visit the customers and transmitting these storage contents to a host for collection of information. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 1 is stuck at the entrance, etc., of a customer's building or stored at the customer side. When a salesman visits the customer, the customer code recorded on the medium 1 is read and stored via a portable terminal 2. At the same time, the visiting time point is also stored in response to the customer code. Furthermore the ordering contents of the customer are immediately read out of a code book and stored. Thus the salesman transmits a series of these data to a host when the salesman returns to his office. While the customer information on the customer address, etc., are previously stored at the host side and then collated with the data sent from the terminal 2 for collection of the customer names and addresses, the visiting time points, and the ordering contents. As a result, these customer names and addresses, the visiting time points, and the ordering contents are accurately collected via the visiting salesmen. |
