In a combine-harvester with a frontmounted header 3 supported by two laterally-spaced jacks 12 fed with pressurefluid from a pump controllableby the driver of the machine, a separate gasaccumulator 26 is connected to each jack to impart resilience to the supporting action when passing over bumpy ground.
