<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy washing of a drain pan on the customer side by making the drain pan exposed outside the main body of an air conditioner without impairing an external appearance and by making it possible thereby to remove and fit it simply. CONSTITUTION:In an integral type air conditioner equipped inside with a refrigerating cycle comprising an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor and a pressure reducing device, a blower device for subjecting a condenser device and an evaporator device to heat exchange respectively and a control device for controlling operations of the aforesaid refrigerating cycle and blower device, a drain pan 3 is provided below the condenser and a sub-drain pan 7 below the evaporator 2 respectively. Drain water condensed in the evaporator 2 and the drain water which fails to be evaporated in the condenser are drained into a circulating drain pan 9 fitted removably to the lower part of the air conditioner. This circulating drain pan 9 is designed to have a function of returning the water forcibly to the evaporator 2 to be evaporated and it is provided outside the main body of the air conditioner.</p> |
