<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the resin composition excellent in wettability to a pigment, various fluidity properties, curability, etc., and useful for offset printing by dissolving a fatty acid-modified alkyd resin in a (meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:This composition is prepared by dissolving (A) an alkyd resin synthesized by modifying a condensate of (i) >=30mol% monobasic acid (e.g. abietic acid or benzoic acid), (ii) a polybasic acid (e.g. terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid or 2,6-naphthalene-dicarboxylic acid) and (iii) a polyvalent alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol, propylene glycol or 1,3-butanediol) with a fatty acid (linseed oil fatty acid, soybean oil fatty acid, etc.) in (B) a >= bifunctional (meth)acrylate [e.g. ethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate]. In addition, the oil length of the component (A) is preferably <30% and the component (A) may be further modified with an isocyanate compound.</p> |
