PURPOSE: To obtain a beautiful and durable blind by impregnating curtain cloth with a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin, a catalyst, a flame retarder, and the like at a specific ratio and then heat-treating the cloth for achieving elasticity and weather resistance or the like. CONSTITUTION: Woven or non-woven cloth 82 that is made of natural fiber, synthetic fiber, inorganic fiber, or the like is impregnated with a thermoplastic resin with 30-70 wt.% and a thermosetting resin with 20-50 wt.%, and a liquid composition 70 that is made of a water-based polyvinyl formaldehyde resin with 3-30 wt.% and a catalyst, a stabilizer, an electrification-preventing agent, a flame retarder, and the like in a treatment bath 80. The thermoplastic resin is at least one type of resin being selected from a group consisting of acrylic, polyurethane, and polyester, while the thermosetting resin is at least one type of resin being selected from a group consisting of melanin, formaldebyde, urea formaldehyde, and thiourea. Also, for the catalyst, a mixture of inorganic amine and organic amino is used. After the cloth 82 is dried by a dryer 87, it is formed into desired dimensions and shape, thus obtaining supple and elastic blinds. |
