The invention relates to a ground-covering element comprising a number of sub-elements with connections between sub-elements of this nature, to a method for manufacturing them, and to a method for manufacturing a mould which is to be used in the manufacturing method. According to the invention, the connections between the sub-elements are flexible, resulting in a ground-covering element which can easily be laid, provides better options for adapting to different surfaces which it is desired to cover and is considerably more suitable for a more or less undulating area of land. <IMAGE>
