<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the intermission of power supply of the device being used by providing an automatic power off function which cuts the power supply when no input comes for the prescribed time when a pen is housed in a housing part. CONSTITUTION:When a pen 3 is housed in a housing part 4 with the power supply turned on, a switch 5 of the housing part 4 detects the housing of the pen 3 and sends a signal to a CPU 6. The CPU 6 starts the counting operation and when the preset time passes, it inputs '1' to an input R of a flip-flop 8. A relay 10 cuts the power supply 9 from a main body 1. Then, when the pen 3 is removed from the housing part 4, the switch 5 detects it and inputs '1' to the input S. The relay 10 connects the power supply 9. Therefore, an operator can prevent the intermission of the power supply being used by not housing the pen 3 to the housing part 4. When the device is not operated for a long time, the power consumption can be suppressed by housing it.</p> |
