Bucket chain excavator with slack bucket chain

The bucket (9) chain has longitudinally articulated chain links (13, 14) in the form of two spaced track chains of tracked vehicles, between which are fitted excavator buckets. The upper chain section is driven by a drive dredger drum, with deflection drum at the other end, and an inlet dredger drum for chain guidance above water level. On the transversely rigid excavator buckets have on either side fastening shackles (20), which are bolted to the chain links via bores in the chain links by securing bolts (22). Pref. the bucket chain excavator has an inlet dredger drum for the slack bucket chain with two separate drum axes (5) with support wheels (6).
