The inner wrapping (2) which contains the cigarettes is made from a flexible material and forms with the cigarettes an independently handled packaged unit (3) which is closed on all sides and contains the brand markings (4). This complete unit is then inserted in the reusable outer box. The inner wrapping can be made from paper printed on the outside and having a suitable inner lining for preserving the tobacco. It could also be made from a clear foil. The outer box can be a cardboard hinged lid packet.
