PURPOSE:To obtain a safe and inexpensive natural hypotensor having excellent hypotensive effect, not requiring diet, having stably supply of raw material, being readily processed, being completely safe as a preventive and a recurrence preventing medicine even by regular use. CONSTITUTION:This therapeutic agent for preventing hypertension from rice uses (1) a ground material of germinated rice, (2) an extract of rice or germinated rice, (3) a material obtained by decomposing a hydrolyzate of rice or germinated rice with an enzyme or treating with KOJI, (4) a material obtained by decomposing an extract of rice or germinated rice with an enzyme or treating with KOJI before, during or after extraction in extracting rice or germinated rice or (5) a material obtained by subjecting the extract, the decomposition product with the enzyme or the treated material with KOJI of rice or germinated rice to alcohol fermentation or organic acid fermentation. Each of the above material as it is, or the material including those is usable as the therapeutic agent. |
