PURPOSE:To provide a laser surgery device which protects eyeball tissues from being touched by a glass fiber unit even when the front-end part of the fiber unit is destroyed by a irregular level of laser power, by connecting a first and a second terminal with a split sleeve and furnishing a first and a second fixing means to fix each fiber unit to each terminal at a position separated from a connecting plane. CONSTITUTION:This device, hand piece 2, comprises: a probe 3 to examine the inside of an eye, a front-end glass fiber 4 inserted through the inside of the probe, and a glass fiber 5 connected to the fiber 4 with a connecting means 6. The connecting means 6 comprises a ferrule 61a, 61b, and a split sleeve 62, which positions to link the ferrule 61a with 61b. The fiber 5 is fixed by filling adhesives at a position separated from the end surface as a connecting plane for the ferrule 61b being a first terminal. |
