<p>In a pre-tensioning device for fastening elements, a pre-tensioning unit (4, 5) is attached to one end of a fastening element (2) at a first region and arranged at its other region to be supported by a rigid structure (1a, 20), in relation to which the pre-tensioning expansion of the fastening element is designed to take place. The pre-tensioning unit (4, 5) contains shape-memory metal, such as a piece (4) made of a shape-memory metal and arranged to stretch a fastening element (2) through a retaining piece (5) as a consequence of a phase change.</p> |
