Transport system for production track

The system transports work between machining or processing stations, using a pair of buffer-roller chains (20,20a). It incorporates one or more curved sections (1) with a pair of chains, and a drive mechanism and a guide for them. Each chain can be deflected sideways at its joints, and is guided in a slide (3,11) curving with the curved section. The first slide (3) can be mounted via its bottom part (3a) on a series of cross-members (2), and joined at the top to a curved profiled girder (4). Brackets (5) on the cross-members are so joined to the curved girder as to form a cruciform passage (19).
