<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain regenerated pulp little in a residual ink by subjecting printed waste paper to a deinking treatment in the presence of an amylase and a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:In the deinking treatment of waste paper, printed waste paper, especially ultra-light printed waste ink having a density of 43g/m<2>, is finely cut, supplied into a pulp-disaggregating machine, mixed with a prescribed amount of a deinking agent comprising sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate, hydrogen peroxide, amylase and a surfactant, and subsequently mixed with hot water for the disaggregation treatment of the waste paper to obtain a pulp slurry reduced in the lowering of the strength of pulp fibers. The pulp slurry is washed with water on a screen for removing the printed ink, and subsequently formed into a regenerated pulp sheet with a TAPPI sheet machine.</p> |
