PURPOSE:To smoothly and efficiently handle visitors as to the entrance gate device which is applied for the automatic ticket examination of a lift riding place of a ski area. CONSTITUTION:The main body of the entrance gate device installed along a gate passage is equipped with a gate controller 5 and a motor-driven gate arm 9 which restricts the passage of visitors; and information of a data carrier 19 that a visitor bears is checked by the gate controller 5 and the gate arm is brought under opening/closing control on the basis of its propriety decision result. Then the control system of the driving motor 8 for the gate arm is equipped with a speed controller 14 combined with a speed setter 17 as an adjusting means which varies and sets the opening/closing operation time of the gate arm to a desired value. Consequently, the opening/closing operation time of the gate arm is adjusted corresponding to the capacity of lift processing, the congestion of visitors, etc., to smoothly process a flow of visitors handled by the gate device. |
