PURPOSE:To provide ink jet recording paper excellent in color developability and ink absorbing properties and having stiffness. CONSTITUTION:Ink jet recording paper has base paper based on cellulose pulp and the ink receiving coating layer formed on at least one surface of the base paper and containing white pigment and a binder resin as main components and the Gurley stiffness specified by JAPAN TAPPI NO. 40 of the base paper is 400-1500mgf and the thickness of the base paper is 100-300mum. |
