PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a curved pipe having an excellent quality performance which obviates a bending mold with a large-scale structure, simplifies facilities, and increases production efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a cylindrical band-like mold 20 having a flexible band B wound helically thereon is arranged so as to surround the outer periphery of a semi-hardened straight pipe 10 molded with a thermosetting resin as a matrix, the straight pipe 10 is bent together with the band-like cylindrical mold 20. Thus, the straight pipe 10 is bent along the band-like cylindrical mold 20 which curves smoothly by maintaining the cylindrical shape. As a result, a curved pipe having excellent appearance and quality performance without wrinkle and deformation can be obtained efficiently without using a large-scale bending mold to surround the whole periphery of the straight pipe 10. |
