PURPOSE:To provide a film having excellent resistance to abrasion and excellent runnability. CONSTITUTION:This biaxially orientated polyester film has a form of an aggregate of primary particles whose mean diameter is 5 to 40nm, contains 0.1 to 0.8wt.% of theta (theta) type aluminum oxide whose mean particle diameter is 50 to 400nm, and has 950kg/mm<2> or more in the sum of Young's moduli measured in the longitudinal and lateral directions of the film. |
