WOODY BOARD, SURFACE DECORATIVE WOODY BOARD AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To manufacture a woody board of smooth surface and excellent water resistance and humidity resistance and a surface decorative woody board of smooth surface on which a surface decorative material is bonded and wood thin piece pattern is not disclosed by using a wood piece laminate board of directional properties. CONSTITUTION:Sanding is applied to a wood thin piece laminate board 2 of surface smoothing directional properties of a laminate woody board 5 to remove protruding wood fiber. Then, recesses and projections on the surface are leveled with a putty 7 by using a knife coater and smoothed. Putty 7 is composed of a water-based polymer isocyanate bonding agent to which powder of calcium carbonate of approximately 40wt.% of the whole solid amount is added, kneaded sufficiently, puttied and then dried to manufacture a woody board 1. Recesses and projections on the puttied surface of the woody board 1 are smoothed, and the wood piece pattern is reduced to an extent of being almost invisible. The water absorption properties of the puttied surface of the woody board 1 is also reduced to a large extent when compared with the non-puttied surface on the rear side.
