<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the increase of additional records in accordance with an automatic batch update and to secure the significance of the arranging order of parts to be continued in a new edition file also, after the update. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic batch updating system of a parts table file where a batch update is performed to the latest effective records of the present edition file 2 keeping each record showing each of the classifications and the numbers of plural parts, etc., in custody with a significant item number in a file 3 for edition where new records are arranged in an arbitrary order by the processing of a processor 5, the respective records of the same classification of the present file 2 and the file 3 for edition are linked. As for the pair with each other where the item number order in the present edition file 2 and the arranging order in the file 3 for edition are reverse in two arbitrary pairs at this time, the contents of the records corresponding to the latter pair is exchanged. When the latest effective record of the present edition file 2 is changed, the change record of the same item number as the latest effective record is added, remaining this latest effective record as it is, after the exchange processing is performed.</p> |
