PURPOSE:To perform the parallel synthesization processing to synthesize the original images with page numbers added to the positions corresponding to each of odd and even numbers of pages and to output the synthetic image on a recording form. CONSTITUTION:An image processor is provided with a 1st storage means 22 which stores the images of characters, symbols, etc., to be added to the image information obtained by scanning the original that is automatically fed on a platen, the 2nd storage means 25A and 25B which store the image data obtained by editing and extending the characters, symbols, etc., and an additional information recording means which synthesizes the image information on the original with the image data stored in the means 25A and 25B and outputs the synthetic image on a recording form. Then an original parallel synthesizing command and an adding commands of page numbers, etc., are given to an automatic original feeding device and the additional information recording device respectively. Thus the page numbers, etc., are added to the positions corresponding to each of odd and even pages and the original images obtained by synthesizing in parallel the originals of the odd and even pages fed to the registering positions of an original registering part are synthesized and outputted on a recording form. |
