PURPOSE:To provide a 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without lyrics) device which selectively uses genuine chorus sound, that is reproduced by decoding coded sounding waveforms, and false chorus audio that is sounded from a sound in accordance with a prescribed condition. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a first storage means 2 which stores genuine chorus sound data in that sounding waveforms of genuine chorus sound is coded, an audio decoding means 16 which decodes the genuine chorus sound data read from the means 2 and reproduces sounding waveforms of the genuine chorus sound, a sound source 14 which produces the sound of the music and audio specified by the data, a second storage means 2 which stores the false chorus sound data that produces the sound of the false chorus audio from the sound source and a control means 15 which selects the genuine chorus sound when the reproducing speed with which the music is sounded from the sound source is synchronized with the genuine chorus sound and selects the false chorus sound when the reproducing speed is not synchronized with the genuine chorus sound. |
