PURPOSE:To reduce the number of connections in a parallel computer system where plural calculation nodes are connected to each other and a transmission line is arbitrated by an arbiter. CONSTITUTION:A concentrator 105 including an arbiter 122 which performs an arbitrating operation for use of a transmission line and a means which connects the data transfer signals among plural calculation together nodes connected together is placed at the center of an inter-connection network. Each calculation node is connected to the concentrator 105 via an optical fiber, etc., and the arbitration and data transfer signals are transmitted in a multiplexed wavelength. |
