摘要 The gripper has an electric motor coupled via a worm gearing with each gripper finger, the worm wheel axis projecting on either side of the drive housing and acting as the spindle. Each side of the spindle is fitted with a spindle nut, having a respective support, the support rotating in opposite directions. Each support has a drive part coupled via struts (6) to a finger fixing plate (8), with expansion measuring strips (7) applied to the struts, for detecting the gripper force. The expansion measuring strips are coupled to a control circuit for disconnecting the electric motor when the required gripper force is attained.
