Blends of sugar and a triglyceride component, wherein the triglyceride component comprises >/= 40 % SU2 and 3-50 % S2U while its N20 > 35 and its N30 < 10 (S = saturated fatty acid 18-24 C atoms, U = unsaturated fatty acid >/= 18 C atoms) are suitable for the preparation of low-SAFA filling fat compositions or low-SAFA ice-cream coatings.
