PURPOSE:To protect the head and the neck of an occupant effectively by an air bag from the rear side, in case of receiving an impact of a rear-end collision and the like of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:To a head rest 6 provided at the upper side of the seat back 4 of the seat 2 of a vehicle, an air bag device unit 6 including an expandable air bag 7 to protect the head and the neck of an occupant by developing to expand to the front side, when an impact is recieved, is housed. As a result, when an impact of a rear-end collision and the like of the vehicle is generated, the head and the neck of the occupant can be protected effectively from the rear side, by the air bag 7 developed to expand forward from the head rest 5. |
