Residual current operated device switch latch

The residual current operated device (10) has at least one contact arrangement (12) with a fixed and a movable contact (17 or 19). The opening of the contacts (17,19) is triggered via a switch latch (13) and moves the movable contact (19) to and from the fixed contact (17). A pivotable contact lever (36) is associated with the switch latch (13). The first end of the lever (36) engages with a latch (41) when an actuating spring (39) is tensed. Its second end pivots a switch shaft (23) to open the contacts (17,19). The switch toggle (14) is coupled to a switch shaft arm (26) via a link joint (30,31).
