Perforated plastic parking ticket for use in toll-operated parking barrier

The parking ticket consists of a round, flat plastic token (1), with at least one cut-out (4). Each cut-out (4) forms a bridge at the edge of the token (3). The resulting hole can be used to secure the ticket, e.g. to the owner's clothing, with a loop or other fastener. The cut-outs (4) can be arranged in one of several ways, as required. An electronic component is embedded in the parking ticket, for storing user-specific parking data. If the cut-out (4) is in the form of a slot in the centre of the token (1), then the electronic component can be built into one half, and a transmitter-receiver into the other half, thus reducing interference between the two.
