Combustion engine with periodically varying working chambers

The combustion engine has several rotary bodies mounted axially parallel to each other and rotating synchronously in the same rotational direction. Each rotating body is so coupled to another that adjacent rotating bodies are always linearly in contact with each other. The linear contact is maintained during the rotation of each body such that a pulsating working chamber arises between the rotating bodies. A first configuration employs four oval shaped rotating bodies, and a second configuration uses three roughly triangular rotating bodies.
