The two elements (24,25) are separated by an insulator (26) which has layers spaced alternately on the two elements, leaving channels (30) which form a path for the flow (31) of coolant. Cooling air (29) is forced into the passages (30) and takes heat alternately from the two elements until it is ejected from the orifice (32). The channels (30) may be formed in the insulator (26) by photogravure, and the insulating material may be deposited by hot spraying.
