PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time by performing successive page copying and to save time for image forming by constituting the sensor for detecting the original scanning means capable of moving. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device 1 provided with the home position sensor 6 for detecting the home position of the first mirror base and the image head sensor 7 for detecting the starting position of reading the image, namely, the starting position of forming the image, the home position sensor 6 and the image head sensor 7 are made capable of moving. The device is provided with the stepping motor 9 for moving the home position sensor 6 and the image head sensor 7, and the stepping motor 9 is made capable of moving the belt 10 extended round the pulley or the like for the specific length corresponding to the pulse signal from the control part. Thus, the coping time can be reduced when the original 4 is large in size, or at the time of the continuous copying operation for copying a plurality of copies. |
