PURPOSE:To provide device and method for centralized monitoring capable of informing information with respect to the installed position of a device to be monitored and ambient environmental status, etc., with the state of the device to a superviser, etc. CONSTITUTION:An image acquiring means M1 acquires image the data of a layout drawing with respect to the installed position of the device to be monitored, and a device existence position information acquiring means M2 acquires device existence position information. When a status information receiving means M3 receives the state information of the device, a generating means M4 generates superposition information based on the state information. Then, an output position decision means M5 decides the output position of the superposition information based on the device existence position information. An output means M6 outputs the superposition information to a decided output position fitting in the image data in a prescribed mode. |
