<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent pre-filtered operating oil from entering directly into the tank by arranging the case for a filter unit in the position above the fluid level of the operating oil tank with the hydraulic operating equipment taking the position at the time of maintenance. CONSTITUTION:When a filter unit 42 is to be replaced, the arm cylinder of a hydraulic shovel is contracted and a boom cylinder kept in the intermediate stroke condition, while only the bucket cylinder is extended to its maximum. With the hydraulic shovel in this condition, an air breather is opened, the interior of the operating oil tank 1 kept in the atmospheric pressure condition and a cap 20 is removed. Thus the return oil in a case 41 is returned to the inside of the tank 1 through a filter member 45 of the filter unit 42. As a result, although the fluid level may somewhat rise, the return oil in the case 41 will pass through the filter member 45 because a bottom plate 41b is still positioned above the fluid level. The filter unit 42 is taken out from the case 41 under this condition. At this time, there is no pre-filtered operating oil in the case 41 and therefore there is no possibility of dirty operating oil entering into the tank 1.</p> |
