PURPOSE:To obtain an inverter device having the excellent low-speed characteristic by providing the first and second inverters, which convert the electric powers of the insulated first and second DC power supplies, and connecting an AC motor having the open-delta armature winding between the AC output terminals of the first and second inverters in series. CONSTITUTION:A high power factor converter(CONV) 1 and a CONV 2 are provided in a three-phase inverter(INV) 1 and an INV 2 using a GTO. As the power supply transformer for the CONVs 1 and 2, a transformer TR 6 having secondary windings SW1 and SW2, is provided. A DC filter capacitors CD1 7 and CD2 8 are provided between the CONVs 1 and 2 and the INVs 1 and 2. The output of the INV 1 is connected to terminals U1, V1 and W1 of the open-delta armature winding of an AC motor M5. Meanwhile, the output of the INV 2 is connected to terminals U2, V2 and Ww. The output voltage commands of the INV 1 and the INV 2 are made to have the same magnitude and have the reverse polarities, and the voltage of twice is supplied into the motor. Therefore, the output voltage becomes cumulative voltage. |
