PURPOSE:To provide a new lens driving device, which is operated under the full control of a user, by changing the energizing method of the motor driving for the lens driving. CONSTITUTION:When a focus ring of a focus ring rotation means 10 is manually rotated, the rotational speed of the ring is detected by a rotational speed information detection means 21 of an information detection means 20a. Moreover, the rotational direction is detected from a rotational direction information detection means 22 of the means 20a. Then, an energizing method and driving speed are operated by a stepping motor control means 30a from the rotational speed signal. Moreover, a rotational direction operation means 31 of the means 30a operates the rotational direction. Then, based on the energizing method, the driving speed and the rotational direction, a stepping motor driving signal operation means 33 operates a stepping motor driving signal and the lens is driven by a stepping motor driving means 40. |
