PURPOSE:To obtain a bar code reader excellent in assembling workability, and having scanning width symmetrical in right and left sides and horizontal scanning lines. CONSTITUTION:A projection part 67, a polygon mirror 45 for reflecting projected light from the projection part 67 and scanning a bar code, a motor 46 for rotating the mirror 45, a light receiving part 50 for receiving reflected light from the bar code and photoelectrically converting the received light, a 1st printed board 48 mounting a rotation control circuit for the motor 46, a light emission control circuit for the projection part 67, a 2nd printed board 60 mounting a control circuit for binarizing an electric signal photoelectrically converted by the light receiving part 50, a 3rd printed board 61 mounting a control circuit for processing/analyzing the binarized electric signal, and a 4th printed board for a power supply are respectively fixed to a metallic frame 41 to constitute a frame assembly. Then constitutional parts for the bar code reader are assembled on the outside of a case 63. |
