HOT BAKABLE REPAIRING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a hot bakable repairing material for the refractory lining of an industrial kiln. CONSTITUTION:This hot bakable repairing material consists essentially of 10-40wt.% silicate and/or phosphate contg. 40-70wt.% water of crystallization, 0.1-10wt.% combustible material and the balance refractory aggregate. Since cooling by the latent heat of evaporation of water is compensated by the heat of combustion of the combustible material, sintering proceeds early and repairing time is shortened.
