<p>This invention provides a method of inducing cell differentiation in a subject and methods of treating leukemia, thalassemia, or sickle cell anemia by administration to the subject of one or more oral bolus doses of a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of one or more butyryl glycerides and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
