Power indicator for indoor gymnasium equipment

The indicator is built into the gymnastic equipment. It contains a detector of the speed of rotation of the equipment's transfer wheel, a variable resistance for determining the torque on the drive mechanism, a display field and a microprocessor. The microprocessor (80) continuously computes the data from the detector and variable resistance and converts it into corresp. readout values which then appear in the display field. The variable resistance is coupled to the equipment's traction device (40), which is connected to a flywheel (50) damper (30) to determine the drive mechanism torque.
