In a mist-spouting type drilling device having a mist passage (5 alpha ) extending through a hollow drill (5) and a hollow shaft (30), a slender throat nozzle (58) is disposed inside the drill, and a slender anti-counterflow nozzle (40) having an orifice portion (40a) is disposed inside the hollow nozzle (58). The anti-counterflow nozzle (40) is connected to a mist supply pipe (20) through a joint member (18) having sealing means (37, 38, 52, 54). With the orifice portion (40a) placed at the midway of the mist passage (5 alpha ) in the nozzles, atomized water introduced into the mist passage through the mist supply pipe (20) little flows backward and is prevented from leaking.
