PURPOSE:To print immediately after an error is processed without waiting a user by judging whether an error state is eliminated or not, and releasing a power conservation state when the elimination is judged to set a print waiting state. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 21 first checks for the absence of paper, a sheet jam, etc. When the CPU 21 judges the error, it processes the error to set '1' at an error generation flag 23a, to display the error by a display unit 26, etc. When the CPU 21 judges no error, it judges whether '1' is set to the flag 23a or not, and ends an error detecting process when '0' is set to the flag 23a. A power conservation mode in which energization of a heater 9a is cut OFF is released, a specified time is again reset to an interrupt timer 30, and energization of the heater 9a is started to set a print waiting state. |
