摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the modulus of elasticity and recording characteristics of a recording layer at the time of high temp. by using an ultraviolet or electron beam curable resin as a resin matrix and setting the glass transition temp. of the whole of the resin matrix after curing and the modulus of elasticity in the rubbery region exceeding the glass transition temp. to specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:A card such as a prepaid card is obtained by forming a light reflecting layer 4 on the surface of a base material 1 by the vapor deposition of aluminum and forming a protective layer 3 consisting of a recording layer 2 and a PET film is formed on the light reflecting film 4. The recording layer 2 is composed of a compsn. wherein an org. monomeric substance is dispersed in a resin matrix and generates a reversible change between a transparent state and an opaque state by temp. In this case, an ultraviolet or electron beam curable resin is used in the whole or a part of the resin matrix and the glass transition temp. of the resin matrix after curing is set to 50 deg.C or higher and temp. higher than the m.p. of the org. low-molecular substance by 10 deg.C or higher. The modulus of elasticity in the rubbery region exeeding the glass transition temp. of the whole of the resin matrix after curing is set to 10<7>dyn/cm<2> or more.
