PURPOSE:To easily execute an assembling work in which an assembled body of an inner ring with rollers fitted thereto is received in an outer ring in spite of projecting of the rollers from a retainer, and even in the case of a machined retainer having square hole pockets. CONSTITUTION:It is applied to a self-aligning roller bearing in which rollers 3 of barrel shape are fitted between an outer ring 1 of spherical raceway and an inner ring 2 of double row raceway. In this bearing, a chamfering part 1c and an inclined face part 1d facing to the outside are provided in order from the end face 1b side between the end face 1b and the raceway 1a of the outer ring 1. It is favorable to set the inclined angle (alpha) of the inclined face part 1d to be in the range of 10 deg.-25 deg.. |
