PURPOSE:To prevent generation of defective air-tightness without reducing the quantity of insertion of a master cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder body 16 is fitted in a recessed part 15 of a front shell 1, and a brake booster and a master cylinder are assembled thereto. The recessed part 15 consists of a fitted part 17 having the inner diameter which can be engaged with the cylinder body 16 from the front side, and a small diameter part 18 continuous thereto in the concentrical manner, and a stepped part 15a between the fitted part 17 and the small diameter part 18 is commonly used as a spring fitting part. A ring-shaped seal member 19 to keep the air- tightness is arranged on the outer circumference of the bottom part of the recessed part 15. The cylinder body 16 of the master cylinder is inserted and fitted to the recessed part 15, and the end surface of a piston 13 abuts on and engages with the tip part of a push rod 11. |
