PURPOSE:To effectively remove smoke with a simple equipment in a laser beam machine for quickly removing smoke generated when a fuming material is worked by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A work 8 is irradiated by a laser beam 1a from a YAG laser beam oscillator 1, transmitting a transparent body cover 3 from a working head 2. When this work 8 is a material with a high fuming property, smoke generated by irradiation with a laser beam 1a is blocked by the transparent body cover 3, does not go on a working head 2 side, and 100% of the smoke is exhausted from a discharge port 6. Therefore, the smoke in a case 4 can be quickly and effectively removed, and a satisfactory working environment is kept at the time of laser beam working. At the same time, since the smoke does not go on the working head 2 side, it can be prevented that the condenser lens of the working head 2 is siled by the smoke, and the cleaning operation of the condenser lens can be easily performed by that share. Also, since assist gas is soiled supplied from the assist gas spouting port 5 of the case 4, the moving working head 2 can be made light. |
