<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a refractory of a furnace by regulating slag quantity in the furnace, MgO and T.Fe in slag and gaseous nitrogen quantity for bottom blowing, etc. CONSTITUTION:Scrap in the furnace is melted in a top-blowing converter lined with C-containing oxide base brick at the super high secondary combustion ratio by using a carbonaceous material and oxygen-containing gas as the heat source to produce molten iron alloy. In this method, the scrap quantity in the furnace is regulated with the net molten metla quantity and the bottom blowing gas quantity by using the inequality I, and also the MgO in the slag is made to be >=5% and T.Fe in the slag is made to be <3.5% and the gaseous nitrogen quantity for bottom blowing is made to be the quantity satisfying the inequality II. At the same time, the wear of the refractory in the scrap melting caused by the super high secondary combustion is restrained by top-blowing the oxygen so that the moisture concn. in the furnace gas is <=5% and the gaseous nitrogen in the space of the furnace is 5-15vol% of the total generated gas.</p> |
