PURPOSE:To prevent an earth-moving device from colliding with a working deck in operations executed in doglegged state by a method wherein a follow-up device is provided behind an erector ring, and a support device is made movable in sliding motion, following the horizontal displacement of the excavating device. CONSTITUTION:A front drum 1a is turned leftward around the contact point with a rear drum 1b by operation of leftward turning at a dogleg corner, and a screw conveyer 2 is displaced at the angle of the turning. A support device 7 for supporting the screw conveyer 2 is attached to a follow-up device 8, and following-up is made to the horizontal displacement of the conveyer 2 in accordance with the turning of the front drum 1a. Then, the conveyer 2 is turned against the front drum 1a for horizontal displacement by operation of a slide jack 6, and the support device 7 also follows the turning displacement in the horizontal direction. Furthermore, the support device moves in sliding and is turned for displacement to a desired position so that interference by the conveyer 2 can be prevented. Thereby, a support 5', when required to be installed, can be arranged in the front, allowing an operator to make free entrance to and exit from the shield machine. |
