PURPOSE:To improve the anion generating efficiency in a gas-liquid contact type air purifier. CONSTITUTION:A cyclone cylinder 4a of a gas-liquid contact part is constituted of a resin, such as an ABS resin, and a metal layer 10 is formed on the surface of the resin. In the cyclone cylinder 4a, air and fine droplets come into contact with each other to remove dust in the air. The fine droplets jetted in the cyclone cylinder 4a are partially converted into anions by the Lenard phenomenon. A mold releasing agent, etc., existing on the surface of a resin formed pan become a primary factor of impeding anion generation, but since the metal layer 10 exists on the surface adverse influence due to the mold releasing agent, etc., is eliminated to improve the anion generation efficiency. |
