<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a scatter of a developer and damage to a photosensitive surface effectively by arranging auxiliary blades near both ends of a main cleaning blade. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 7 is arranged in a freely oscillatory state in the casing 3 of a cleaning device 2, a blade 4 is fitted to the photosensitive-body side end part of a support member 5 fitted on the shaft 7, and a weight 6 is provided at the opposite end part, so that the blade 4 is pressed against the surface of a photosensitive body with the weight. A residual developer remaining on the surface is scraped at the position of the blade 4 through a transfer position according to the rotation of the photosensitive body. Narrow auxiliary blades 9 are fitted to the casing 3 at the downstream side in the running direction of the photosensitive body. Consequently, a developer passed at both ends of the blade 4 during reciprocal motion is scraped off with the couple of narrow auxiliary blades 9, so the developer is prevented from scattering from beside the casing into an image forming device.</p> |
