<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for laying a cable without using any wire rope by which a cable can be laid continuously over a long distance without falling even if a vertical part, for example, is present in the laying path. CONSTITUTION:A chain conveyor 21 fixed with a plurality of hooks, each having an anti-removal metal, is installed temporarily between the start point P and the end point Q of cable laying path. A cable 4 is fitted, at the forward end thereof, to a flexible pipe 22 which is then engaged, at the forward end thereof, with one hook 23 of the chain conveyor 21 at the start point P of cable laying path. The chain conveyor 21 is then driven to feed the cable 4 from a cable drum 24 at a tuned speed. The cable 4 is then laid from the start point P to the end point Q while being supported freely by other hooks 23 of the chain conveyor 21.</p> |
